The diameter of the keder on a draught skirt is always between 6 and 7 mm. Every caravan and motorhome brand uses this size as a standard for the keder profile, so the keder always fits.
If the keder profile is very long or the hole for the keder is not large enough due to dirt accumulation in the rail, the keder may get stuck due to the rough material.
Should inserting the keder be difficult, follow the following advice:
- Make sure to guide the keder piece by piece by hand at the feed-through hole.
- Clean the keder profile and spray the entire profile with silicone spray.
- Should it still be difficult, try it with 2 people. One to insert the keder and one to pull the keder through the keder profile.
